Fire heavily damages mobile home in Kelowna’s Glenmore area

Fire crews were called to Watson Road, near Yates Rd. around 1:30 a.m.

A mobile home was heavily damaged in a fire early this morning (May 3) in the Glenmore neighbourhood.

Kelowna fire crews were called to Watson Road, near Yates Rd. around 1:30 a.m.

Firefighters were able to stop the blaze from spreading to an addition on the home.

The lone male occupant was taken to hospital and was treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the has yet to be determined and is under investigation.
