Kelowna’s Gordon Dr., Sutherland Ave. intersection to close for construction

The intersection of Gordon Drive and Sutherland Avenue will be shut down starting the evening of Friday, Apr 26 until Monday, Apr. 29.

A new water main and sanitary trunk main will be connected to the existing infrastructure at the intersection.

Work includes asphalt removal, trenching, pipe/manhole installation, backfilling, and paving.

Additional works for the Sutherland Active Transportation Corridor project that will take place during the closure include intersection signal rewiring.

Businesses on Sutherland and Gordon will be accessible during the closure, however, driving through the Gordon and Sutherland intersection will not be possible.
