Support athletes in Kelowna with diverse abilities at a golf tournament this summer.

Black Mountain Golf is hosting a tournament on June 20 to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics B.C. - Kelowna.

Tournament participants can tee off at 8:30 a.m. for an optional nine-hole shotgun start.

Registration officially opens at 10 a.m. followed by a barbeque lunch. Golfers will hit the green for 18 holes at 12:30 p.m.

The tournament will close with a dinner and reception at The Grill at 6 p.m.

Register for the tournament online. The registration fee is $250 per person.

Special Olympics in Kelowna has about 180 athletes that practice and compete in a wide range of sports year-round.
